Toyota Avalon Touring 2019

Hello loves!!! Happy New Year!  I want to give ‘A girls guide to cars’  & Toyota a special thank you, as you have given me the opportunity to drive such an amazing car. I’m extremely excited to be sharing all about the TOYOTA Avalon Touring 2019! I will be highlighting some of my favorite features I was able to discover while driving this vehicle a couple of weeks ago. We are currently shopping for a new car as our lease is coming to an end! Perfect timing to test drive this bad ass car! It’s an eye-catching car that doesn’t require…

Wacoal – Short Hills Mall

Hi loves! It’s been way too long! I felt the need to get back in here and share my most recent discovery! For the most part I rather shop online but some things you just have to show up in person! I was at The Mall at Short Hills which is really just a 30 minute drive from home.  And while shopping around, I visited Wacoal’s newest location! Not only to shop bras and underwear but to get fitted! I’ve hesitated to recently, because I haven’t had the best luck in the past!  Getting fitted is the easy part, it…

New York International Auto Show 2018

I’m excited to announce that I’ll be heading to New York’s International Auto Show this week! Perfect timing, as we are researching several car brands since our lease is coming to an end soon. We’ve been driving an SUV for about 6 years now and we are looking into getting a mid-size sedan.  ‘A Girls Guide to Cars’ has cordially invited me to preview some of the latest models during a ‘Girls Night Out’ on Thursday evening.  We attended this event last year and we had so much fun! Do you guys remember? I was getting ready to take off…

Mahekal Beach Resort, Playa del Carmen

Tis’ the season we all start feeling like we need to escape the cold and head over to a tropical destination.  I know I’m already itching for a nice tan and warmer weather.  We love the Caribbean and I personally love going to Mexico. I’ve been there four times!  This time around, I visited Mexico with my family including my son. We were craving a landing at an all-white sand beach with clear blue/green water… and we didn’t want to take a long flight in order to arrive there. So we booked a flight to Playa del Carmen, Mejico! We…

Cycle Bar – Fort Lee, NJ

Fun fact. Do I like biking outdoors? Nope. Do I enjoy riding at ‘Cycle Bar’ indoors. Hell yeah! Not only do I like it, I love it! It’s my  absolute favorite way of burning calories and toning my body. The first time I tried a cycling class was about 8 years ago.  Mind you, I’ve tried core conditioning classes at the gym, boxing, cross fit, AND yoga, before but there are many reasons why I keep going back to cycling. For starters, there’s this huge misconception that we’re not working out our entire body while pedaling through a sprint or…

Black Swan Costume

hi guys!! One of my favorite times of the year is right around the corner! Every year I take my time to recreate a character to escape reality for a day. Because why not?! Every day you must be yourself but it does feel pretty darn good to enter a fantasy world for a day. I don’t get to play ‘do-it-yourself’ too often but Halloween is definitely the time of the year where I like to create everything on my own. For starters it can be less costly but more importantly it’s the opportunity to get creative and add your…

Azul Rooftop

Make your way inside Hotel Hugo located in Hudson Square, Manhattan.  Find the nearest elevator and press the button that takes you all the way to the top…  Ding! Just like that, after a quick ride up to the highest story… the elevator doors open to a rooftop with magnificent 360-degree views of NYC skylines and Cuban Cantina vibes. With it’s vibrant decor, street art, vintage ads, spray painted art, Azul Rooftop transported me to Little Havana in a heart beat. We all know summer in the city is very special and it’s our obligation to go out and explore…

Tina Pearson’s Salon

I finally did it!!! I dyed my hair for the very first time!  I’m officially part of this club many women are already a part of.  It’s definitely something I always wanted to try but I knew there would be many things I had to take in consideration before crossing over to the other side.  Timing is everything and I always for some odd reason wanted to keep my natural black hair until I turned 30. And the time is here… I’ve decided to enter a new decade in my life with brown hair. Besides deciding on the perfect hair…
