Mommy and Son

Many may not know yet but if you read my bio on Instagram you’ll discover I’m a mommy. Go through my Insta stories and you’ll see how I love sharing videos and photos of my beautiful son.  From time to time I also include my son in a photoshoot for neon hue. He five years old and I’m loving this stage just like I’ve enjoyed every stage prior to that. He really sounds like an adult these days and he thinks he’s a know it all. Yes he eats every 2 mins & he’s the most loving little person I know. He is also so helpful these days and it’s so important to me to give him chores at home. In this shoot he took a few photos with me and since he’s been around us for several other photoshoots he knows how to work the camera.

Many people wonder how I balance it all and how I wing it while being a mom. And trust me I wonder this myself sometimes. I have to say it’s not easy and to avoid my son from getting bored a lot of the times I find a sitter for an hour and we rush through a photoshoot with my boyfriend. But he’s old enough that I’m starting to share more and more of what I do and he totally gets most of it but at the end of the day he’s a kid and taking a couple of photos is not how he wants to spend his time. So that’s why you only see his face sometimes on the blog since I really don’t like to overwhelm him with too much camera action.

I was thinking of doing a Q&A on live video or insta stories on how I personally balance my time with my full time position, being a mom and the blog. Overall I’d like to share more of my day to day life as a mommy. Would you guys be interested in something like that? Please let me know! For the time being you can also join me for an event on March 6th as I will be one of the panelists. I will be sharing more about my career, the blog and being a mommy alongside some other amazing ladies killing it in various industries. This event will be in Hoboken, NJ hosted by AaRaa Accessories.  I would love to see your faces and it would be my pleasure to meet some of my followers.  For more info on the event go: here . I hope to see you there!

Here I’m wearing a Navy Assymmetric Button Front Pencil Dress by She In.  It’s such a cute simple dress that you could wear up or down. I’d even pair with with some nice sneakers. I’m also wearing sunnies by Vera Wang: Thick Eye Cat.
