Ambience

As many of you already know, I spend a lot of my time in New York everyday. That’s because I commute to work daily from where I reside in, right across the river in Edgewater, Northern NJ.  As you can imagine this also means I spend a lot of my time in New Jersey. too. I was raised in North Bergen… Yes, that’s right, I graduated a bruin from North Bergen High School. Six years ago I moved to Edgewater. The town’s population has increased immensely because of it’s prime real estate with unobstructed views of New York City’s skyline. Over the years many new local businesses have opened their doors to us locals. I’ve discovered places that I’m still loyal to like my go-to coffee shop, my favorite place to brunch and of course my go-to place to shop clothing to add to my wardrobe.

Without a doubt, ‘Ambience’ has become my favorite boutique to shop in.  First, I’d like to start off by stating how this boutique is a hidden gem.  Luckily, I stumbled upon this shop while shopping in City Place at the Promenade. There are several shops located there but if you’re looking for contemporary fashion, this shop has all you’ve been looking for! There is no need to travel to shops elsewhere, when there’s the perfect place literally in your back yard. I personally feel like this place is underrated and this is why I feel compelled to share more about this shop with all you fashionistas.  You must stop seeking or wondering where to go shopping for a pair of denim jeans or the perfect cocktail dress. If you live in the area stop by & join the Ambience I can’t seem to get enough of.  Allow Grace (co-owner) to provide you with great style advice, trust me when I say she will have you leaving their store with no regrets. She’s been dressing women for decades and coming from a fellow fashion enthusiast myself, she has impeccable taste.

The location is not solely the reason you should shop here but for the experience in itself. It’s like having a personal stylist when they help you choose a piece from a range of different styles and price points. Even their more affordable styles offer top-notch quality in the fabric and designs.

This Lace midi Dress by Keepsake is one of Ambience’s New Arrivals. It features a banded neckline with scalloped edges, body skimming silhouette, all over linear lace,  and a partially lined with bandeau and skirt.  When wearing this dress it embodies the perfect amount of both sultry and a sophisticated feel.  I paired it with louboutin pumps that feature a hidden platform and a sling back heel. Here I’m wearing a size Medium and this dress comes in Navy.
