Most designers speak to women with a fixed sense of style, while others manage to connect with every girl that’s out there. This collection, released earlier this month, has proven to cater to everyone. It introduced a variety of cool styles leaving everyone a piece to gravitate towards. It was one of those collaborations that everyone was anticipating to see in stores. I’m referring to Kenzo x H&M. Some pieces were designed with loud attributes like wild tiger stripes, bold color blocking, fuzzy fabrics and psychedelic floral prints to more subtle pieces with geometric shapes and the world renown tiger logo. I found a piece that instantly felt special to me. How about a silk quilted bomber jacket with kimono sleeves? Yes! You read this right. Two of my favorite jacket styles in one. But there’s more. It’s a reversible piece and it features a beautiful print on each side. One side’s print has a bold floral print in ruby red, green and purple and the other is an animal print with bright orange and hints of light blue and pink. It’s the perfect winter layering piece that captures Kenzo’s East meets West design language perfectly.
