I’m excited to announce that I’ll be heading to New York’s International Auto Show this week! Perfect timing, as we are researching several car brands since our lease is coming to an end soon. We’ve been driving an SUV for about 6 years now and we are looking into getting a mid-size sedan. ‘A Girls Guide to Cars’ has cordially invited me to preview some of the latest models during a ‘Girls Night Out’ on Thursday evening. I’m definitely gravitating towards the Genesis G90. It’s been on our minds ever since we discovered this new car brand by Hyundai last year. Beside it’s beautiful design I love the fact that it’s compatible with Amazon Alexa. As a mom I’m always on the run and I could use some virtual assistance while driving. I also like how my little boy could have access to the music and controls from the back seat. He could raise the volume to ‘Your Body’ by the Cat dealers, one of his favorite songs! Audio will be playing out of 17 speakers that deliver a 3-dimensional dynamic sound. It even has a Rear Seat Integrated Memory System which remembers passengers’ preferred seating positions and instantly readjusts them with just the touch of a button. One of the biggest factor for us is safety. I was sold once I read it has a rigid body made out of Advanced High Strength Steel and a state of the art 9 Air bag system.
I’m highly anticipating the end of this week to learn more about Genesis latest model at the NYIAS. The best part is that we won’t be interrupted by any salesmen giving us the time and flexibility to really go above and beyond to explore all of our options! We met some amazing people last year that we’ve kept in touch! I look forward to meeting some awesome New York peeps and other influencers from the tri state area! Not in the market for a car, no worries… It’s just an overall educational experience and you’ll get to discover some up and coming technologies that will be part of our future and one day be a part of our everyday lives.
